22 Und machet keusch48 eure Seelen5590 im1519 Gehorsam5218 der Wahrheit225 durch1223 den Geist4151 zu1722 ungefärbter505 Bruderliebe5360 und habt euch5216 untereinander240 brünstig lieb25 aus1537 reinem2513 Herzen2588,

23 als die da2532 wiederum geboren sind313, nicht3756 aus1537 vergänglichem5349, sondern235 aus1223 unvergänglichem862 Samen4701, nämlich aus dem lebendigen2198 Wort3056 Gottes2316, das da ewiglich1519 bleibet3306.

23 Being born313 again,313 not of corruptible5349 seed,4701 but of incorruptible,862 by the word3056 of God,2316 which lives2198 and stays3306 for ever.165

24 Denn1360 alles Fleisch4561 ist wie5613 Gras5528 und2532 alle3956 Herrlichkeit1391 der Menschen444 wie5613 des846 Grases Blume438. Das3956 Gras ist verdorret, und2532 die Blume438 abgefallen1601;

24 For all3956 flesh4561 is as grass,5528 and all3956 the glory1391 of man444 as the flower438 of grass.5528 The grass5528 wither,3583 and the flower438 thereof846 falls1601 away:1601

25 aber1161 des HErrn2962 Wort4487 bleibet3306 in1519 Ewigkeit165. Das5124 ist2076 das3588 Wort4487, welches unter1519 euch5209 verkündiget ist2097.

25 But the word4487 of the Lord2962 endures3306 for ever.165 And this5124 is the word4487 which3588 by the gospel2097 is preached2097 to you.
